ABSTRACT
This report concentrates on examining and explaining therequired design, architecture & The engineering aspects which was used in making a go-kart chassis and . This report explains us about the objectives, assumptions. calculation which were made in order to design a good Go-kart without having much errors and the safety of the driver was the main priority in it . through the solid works 2021 software. The main objective of this project wasto analyse the amount of strength the basic chassis can hold without fracturing?&To check the factor of safety of the vehicle? There was a comparison of the properties of two metal alloys AISI 4130& AISI 1020 , To use the best alloy for the vehicle to perform good in all other aspects . This project makes a beginner person who has interest in making go-kart can go through it and he will be certainly benefited. While making this report every aspects and ideas of go-kart was discussed , The major thing which we took in consideration was the safety of the driver which comes at most priority for us , Then the strength of the chassis was examined both on physical properties and on the results developed on the ANSYS software , This report was made keeping in knowledge about the cost to person who are manufacturing it because we used every thing given to us for this project . The basic idea of the project was to make a safer go-kart with pocket friendly cost so that new upcoming go-kart manufacturers will be benefited by this report .
