Design and Analysis of Rotary Intersection at Taat Mil Chauraha Kanpur

ABSTRACT
In today's world, everyone is determined to have his own car. Their determination led to a gradual increase in the number of vehicles. As a consideration of traffic flow, many roads are built with many reinforcing barriers. Where two or more road networks meet, there is the construction of various types of intersections, rotaries / roundabouts. Rotary junction has the ability to control various traffic congestion. Rotary junction capacity testing is very important. As the rotary junction test is directly related to several traffic and driver parameters such as service level, travel time, delays, accidents, operating costs, environmental features, etc. Therefore, there should be proper attention to evaluate and improve circulating interactions. Rotary Traffic at intersections is a special way of changing the level of lanes to move the one-way traffic around a central traffic island. With the rapid growth of traffic, it seems that road widening and flyover provision have had to be overcome by major conflicts at intersections such as collisions between right and left turns. In this way, major conflicts are transformed into smaller conflicts such as mergers and acquisitions. Rotary vehicles are well compelled to move in a clockwise direction. Then they weave from the rotary to where they want to be. In this project we have carefully analyzed and designed the intersection of TAAT MILL CHAURAHA KANPUR. Therefore, that traffic flows efficiently and there will be no traffic jams or accidents.
