ABSTRACT Problems like the quality and safety of agricultural goods and the pollution of the atmospherefrom agricultural activities need to be solved in order to improve the efficiency and safety of production and administration of contemporary agriculture in India. One of the earliest techniques for preserving farm goods is drying. Numerous commercially significant products need to be dried or stored under specific environmental conditions, including temperature and humidity. High temperatures within the sun drier stop the development of microorganisms and rapidly lower the substance's moisture content. The best option is typically thought to be a hybrid solar drier, but solar cells can be pricey and can only produce heat or electricity during the day. The primary goal is to automate solar dryers through IoT; this tool can be used to monitor and control dryer performance from a distance. Therefore, in order to optimise and design such a smart solar dryer, it is essential to estimate and assess the critical energy requirements for such new systems
