Design Development and Fabrication of 5-Degrees of Freedom of Spatial Manipulator

ABSTRACT
The significance of the robotic manipulators is increasing tremendously in all industrial and non-industrial applications to manipulate the material. In the present research work, the author developed a 5-DOFspatial manipulator which isspecificallyused for pick and place operation. Moreover, the said manipulator was mounted on the mobile platform for moving one place to another. Initially, a CAD model has been developed and the analysis has been done for all the links and joints of the manipulator. Later on, all the models have been fabricated using the latest 3D printing technology. Further, the developed spatial manipulator has been mounted on the mobile manipulator for moving the objects one place to another. Finally, the developed model was operating by using wireless communication.
