ABSTRACT . This article proposes a unique way to developing a Ripple Carry Adder (RCA) by utilizing the modified-Gate Diffusion Input (GDI) technology. This approach is presented in this study. The modified-GDI approach stands out due to its capacity to provide large reductions in power consumption, latency, and circuit size, all while maintaining a low level of complexity in the logic design. During the course of our analysis, we carry out a comprehensive comparison of the performance characteristics of the modified-GDI RCA with those of ordinary CMOS logic circuits and classic GDI designs. The entire design process is carried out with the assistance of a 50nm technology node, and exhaustive simulations are carried out with the help of the LTspice tool in order to rigorously analyze and validate the efficacy and efficiency of the modified-GDI method that has been presented. We hope that by doing this investigation, we will be able to illustrate the better capabilities and advantages of the modified-GDI approach in terms of improving the performance and efficiency of digital circuit designs, notably in the arena of adder implementations
