Designing a Cost Effective Robot with Human Identification Capability to serve Covid19 Infected People

ABSTRACT

Covid-19 has gripped everyone and maintaining a social distance of at least 1 meter is a must and in this unprecedented situation, the risk of infection of healthcare staffs is increasing in a manifold. So we have made an IoT based robot that is capable of moving with the help of voice commands and can also be accessed remotely. The robot has an image recognition feature. Upon recognizing a particular patient it will greet them and will motivate them. It will also be used to transport medicines and food timely to the patients. The robot is made in such a way that it is extremely cheap compared to its counterpart and being light can easily be transported. The robot can be used as an entertainer as well. For identification of human being, no costly camera is included to design the robot. Thus we proposed and design a cost effective robot.
