ABSTRACT
There are many fields in which human intervention is difficult but the process under consideration has to be operated and controlled, this leads to the area in which robots find their applications. This manly used for large industries which replaces the humans to make work done easily. Mankind has always strived to give life like qualities to its artifacts in an attempt to find substitutes to carry out orders and also to work in a hostile environment. The popular concept of a robot is that looks and works like a human being. This project deals with implementing a Development of automated material handling system usually called as pick and place robot as per the existing robots in the industries. The functioning of robot arm and conveyor belt is programmed to the Arduino Uno board with the concept of delaying the time to perform it in a fully automated way without using any sensors. This board is used to control the system which needs 5V power supply and driving system needs minimum 12 V power and in this we are using 12V DC motor, SG90 and MG995 servomotors, motor driver board. DC motor is used to run the conveyor belt and servomotors used to operate the robot arm and end effector. It is an open or closed kinematic chain of rigid links interconnected by movable joints. The system is designed in a way that it eliminates human error and human intervention, to get more precise work. In this system, the hardware is emphasized and conveyor belt will be used to transport the objects from place to place. Compare to the existing robots it is implements in low cost. This pick and place robots are useful in various fields such as in bottle filling industry, packing industry, automobile industry etc.
