ABSTRACT Aegle Marmelos, often known as the bael fruit, has a lot to offer in terms of nutrition and health advantages. Bael juice jam and toffee are only two examples of value-added products created to capitalize on the nutritional advantages and expand their market share year-round. The value and importance of bael fruit are covered in the current article. The native to India bael fruit is a powerhouse of nutrients, including aeglin and marmelosin as well as vitamins and minerals. There are numerous culinary, medicinal, and non-edible uses for bael fruit. Bael is a fruit that is underutilized in the processing sector, but other products have been developed that add value, such as slab, squash, preserves, wine, and beverages. It can also be used for a number of non-edible purposes, including as biodiesel, pollution adsorbents, and corrosion-resistant film.
