Author Name : Dr. Mokana Muthu Kumarasamy, Al-Yaqadhan Al Rawahi

ABSTRACT

Employee engagement may be directly and positively related to employee dedication, trust, and loyalty for the organizations, especially during the pandemic times when most employees worked from home, this phenomenon gains high importance universally. This study aims to investigate the effect of employee engagement dimensions (vigor, dedication, and absorption) on employee performance. To test the hypothesis that vigor, dedication, and absorption impact employee performance significantly, 52 questionnaires were distributed randomly to employees and 36 were valid. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data by using SPSS version 26 and PLS. The results showed that dedication, and absorption do not impact employee performance significantly, however, for selected model fit factors, vigor has a significant impact on employee performance. This studycreates awareness towards using vigor, dedication, and absorption to utilize them in future. It will also assist managers to improve level of employee engagement, by exploring more organization specific factors which will yield a high level of performance in the organization.
