ABSTRACT : Background & Objective: Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) refers to a combination of physical and emotional symptoms that many women experience in the days leading up to their menstrual period. These symptoms can vary widely in severity and can include mood swings, irritability, bloating, fatigue, breast tenderness, anxiety, headache among others. PMS leads to increased mood swings, anxiety, irritability, heightened stress levels affecting interpersonal relationships leading to increase in absence from work, college and school. The objective of this study is to find the effects of Chakra Meditation Vs Guided mental Imagery on anxiety, irritability and insomnia in young female adults with premenstrual syndrome.
