Effect of Some Leaf Extract of Tobacco (Nicotiana Tabacum), Lantanacamara, Tridax Procumbence and Murraya koenigii against Mosquito larva

ABSTRACT
Mosquito known as a vector for malaria, dengue and chikungunya fever.For control of mosquito larva medicinal plant become a alternative source . In current study we use some leaf extract like tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) ,Lantana camara, Tridax procumbens and murraya koenigii against mosquito three instar larvae of Anopheles at different concentration ( 15 min, 30min,45min 1hour ) and the mortality rate LD100and LC5100 was counted. The result indicate that leaf extract of tobacco have active larvicide against Anopheles larvae.
