Author Name : Prof. Vaidya Krishna, Prof. (Dr.) C K Kumbharana
ABSTRACT
Here in this paper, eight directional PVD + MLSB is used in image steganography. By using edges in multiple directions, PDH Analysis can be skipped in PVD.MLSB uses central pixel for hiding 3 or 4 bits in 3x3 block.Central pixel is calculated with corresponding all pixels, to get the difference value. Data are hidden based on eight difference value. Here two types of range tables are used. In Type 1 (Range Table 1), 3 bits MLSB (Modified LSB) is used. Whereas in Type 2 (Range Table 2), 4 bits MLSB. Higher PSNR is achieved by Type 1, whereas Higher capacity is achieved by Type 2.
