ABSTRACT : This survey paper ensures secure communication has become imperative, especially for entities like government bodies, healthcare providers, legal sectors, and financial institutions that face substantial vulnerabilities to information security threats.To fortify secure communication, this paper introduces the XChaCha20 encryption algorithm, recognized for its modern symmetric encryption capabilities and efficiency. XChaCha20, an extension of the ChaCha20 algorithm, significantly enhances security by providing a larger nonce space, crucial for maintaining the uniqueness of ciphertext.The abstract encapsulates the essence of the paper, emphasizing the significance of XChaCha20 in fortifying secure communication and overcoming the constraints of existing systems.
