ABSTRACT: The black box consists of a Flight Data Recorder and Cockpit voice recorder. In this paper, research has been proposed to understand evaluation of Flight Data Recorder. Flight Data Recorder is been placed in Crash Survivable Memory Unit, to keep the FDR protected. Real- time data monitoring on the aircraft is mandatory, so that immediate actions can be taken by International Civil Aviation Organization during occurrence of accidents. Various parts of FDR and latest techniques to store data like FDR in Cloud, Data Mining and other systems is been discussed in the paper.
