Extraction of Silica From Agricultural Waste (Rice Husk): A Review

ABSTRACT: The most common element on earth is silica, which is produced artificially for various technological applications. Typically, silica is available in the form of alkoxysilane compounds. These materials, meanwhile, may be hazardous to health. therefore, it is necessary to obtain silica by using eco-friendly sources such as rice husk, corncob, and Wheat straw. etc. This article reviews the various methods of extraction of silica and its characterization methods.
