ABSTRACT The "Fake Currency Detection" system aims to develop an intelligent solution for accurately and efficiently detecting counterfeit Dhaka currency. Counterfeiting poses a significant threat to individuals and the economy of Bangladesh. With advancements in color printing technology, the creation of counterfeit currency has become more sophisticated. While counterfeit detectors are available, they are mainly used in banks and corporate offices, leaving common people and small businesses vulnerable. This project proposes using advanced technologies such as computer vision, machine learning, and pattern recognition to address these challenges and provide a reliable, automated solution for detecting fake Dhaka currency
