Floating Waste Scooping and Segregation Robot

Author Name : Nithin H V, Akarsh Aradhya, Kavya K N, Keerthana P, Pallavi Mahantayya Hiremath

As the population continues to grow, the state of cleanliness and waste management has drastically declined. The total amount of waste produced requires labor-intensive cleanup processes. However, advancements in technology across industries have enabled the implementation of automated methods to prevent garbage accumulation. One effective method is waste segregation, which simplifies the disposal process. After collection, waste should be separated as it facilitates recycling and decreases the amount sent to landfills, benefiting both people and the environment. Our project focuses on retrieving floating waste from bodies of water, utilizing a collection belt.
