Formulation and Evaluation of Dark Spot Reduction under Eye Gel

ABSTRACT

Human beings are gifted by god. Human beings want to look more attractive than other one. But the skin is around the eyes is big issue in males and females. The skin is around the eyes is thin and contains less fat than other area of skin. Under-eye gel is a biphasic colloidal material contains elasticity, in which dispersed liquid introduced in the Solid phase. Dark circles are bilateral and round.  Aging, stress, lifestyle, due to genes etc. are major reasons. Major concerns are Puffiness, fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. It is used as Anti-tanning, Anti-aging, Reduce the fine lines or wrinkles, retarding the swelling, increase the Smoothness and reduce the dark circles. So therefore there is need of cosmetic product that effective in retarding the Pigmentation and reduce the dark circles. Herbal Product is much more importance than Synthetic one. The present works deal with development and evaluation of herbal under eye gel. It contains a Matcha green tea and Caffeine are act like retarding the swelling and puffiness. Alfa Arbutin, Niacinamide, Aloe Vera gel and turmeric are used to reduce dark circle and skin resurfacing.  Hyaluronic acid and glycerin are used to reduce dark circles. Hyaluronic acids, Niacinamide are used to reduce the fine lines and wrinkles. Evaluation of under eye gel: visual appearances, clarity, PH, spreadibility, viscosity, extrudibity. The Result was found to be satisfactory.
