Formulation and Evaluation of Facial Herbal Scrub Gel by using Jojoba Beads

ABSTRACT This research study was done to develop a effective face scrub using jojoba beads and aloevera. Three formulations were made each contains 2 % w/w jojoba beads and 2.5 % w/w aloevera with varying concentration of excipients. The prepared face scrub was evaluated for organoleptic properties, pH, irritability, washability, grittiness, extrudability, foamability, and spreadability. Upon assessment, the formulation F3 demonstrated an ideal pH and suitable grittiness. Through this research work we intend to show safe and effective face scrub and proven to be effective as anti aging. Jojoba beads is well known for its effectiveness as scrubbing agent. It works by exfoliating the skin, improves blood circulation and increases oxygenation of the skin’s surface. Aloe Vera shows the anti- aging effect. It protects from sun damage and gives moisturizing effect. Our prepared face scrub is suitable for skin care purposes
