Formulation and Evaluation of Herbal Anti-Acne Cream From Dragon Fruit and Chia Seeds

ABSTRACT Nowadays, the majority of Indians suffer from acne vulgaris, a chronic skin condition. Acne is a persistent inflammatory skin disorder that is related to sebaceous glands. The four main pathophysiologies are inflammation, androgen-induced accelerated sebum hyper-production, altered follicular keratinization, and Propionibacterium acnes (P. Acne).Sunburn marks, pigmentation, acne, and pimples are all problems that everyone has at some point in their lives. To create and assess a cream with chia seeds and dragon fruit that will provide a glowing, anti-acne impact. Bees wax, liquid paraffin, borax, distilled water, jasmine oil, and methyl paraben were used to make the cream base. Humans utilize herbal creams as a preparation to treat a variety of illnesses and infections Despite the rise in cosmetic preparations with antioxidant, UV protection, and moisturizing agents because of their ability to slow down the aging process of the skin. Development is necessary.Using gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus ) and two gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli and ) via the disc diffusion method, the antibacterial activity of the extract and cream at varying concentrations was examined.
