ABSTRACT Humans have been using herbs for various purpose like food, medicine and beautification etc. Now-a-days people are taking much care about skin in terms of beautification and utilization of cosmetics such as moisturizers, gels, soaps, perfumes, lipsticks, lotions, creams, powders etc. In view of that our current review is to explore about formulation of soaps using herbs as major resource Herbal ingredients in soaps are valued for their natural properties including soothing, moisturizing and therapeutic effects. They often contain antioxidants and vitamins that can promote skin health, reduce irritation, and offer a gentle cleaning experience compared to synthetic alternatives. Additionally, herbal soaps are considered as eco-friendly, they are typically involve no toxic chemicals and are derived from renewable resources.
