Formulation of Neem Mosquito Repellent Liquid from Neem Leaves To Treat Malaria

ABSTRACT

Neem has been used in the traditional of maleria for centuries: neem leaves are effective against strains of malaria . These compounds are at least as effective against malaria as quinine and chloroquine. Drinking neem teas or chewing a couple of leaves every day reduce the possibility of contracting malaria.it is speculated that neem is even more effective against malaria in the body than in laboratory because it is thought to stimulate the immune system: it also lowers the fever and increase the appetite, thus speeding recovery.

Neem leaves has been found to be an effective mosquito repellent. It has more than 100bio active ingredients and is rich in proteins. It's bio-active ingredients are antimalarial, anti- inflammatory,antipyretic, antibacterial,insect repellent and there is one which is spermicidal !Neem derivatives neutralize nearly 500 pests but are non toxic to higher animals and most beneficial insects, therefore neem is well suited for pest control in rural areas. Neem leaves has all advantageous medicinal properties. In traditional medicine, neem has been used in treatment of urinary disorders,skin disease, diabetes,fungal infection and viral disease-a wonder drug ! Neem also provide dental hygiene. It's medicinal properties can be also used for animal health.Neem cake can be used as a ferlizer. The properties of neem have been known for 4,500 years in the Indian sub content where it was called survaroganivarni and it is included in aurveda , the Indian system of natural medicine .With the uropian arrival in India , practical uses of neem tree were discouraged but Indian immergents broat the tree to Africa and other places.
