Fruit and Vegetable Classification Using Convolutional Neural Network

ABSTRACT

 Computer vision for the recognition of fruits and vegetables is a common technique utilized in this cutting-edge period. Deep neural networks (DNN) offer promising results for fruit recognition in photos when compared to other machine learning (ML) techniques. Fruits and vegetables are now identified using DNN-based classification methods. Due to the similarity in size, shape, and other characteristics of fruits, the problem of fruit recognition has not yet been solved. The use of deep learning (DL) for fruit recognition and other applications is briefly covered in this research. Also, the research will clearly explain convolution neural networks (CNNs) and the Efficient Net architecture for fruit and vegetable recognition. Moreover, note the weight of the fruits and vegetables.
