FTIR and SHG Analysis of Benzoic Acid Doped ADP Crystal

ABSTRACT This research paper is based on the Fourier Transform Infrared or the FTIR and SHG analysis of Ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP) doped with Benzoic acid. Ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP) was doped with Benzoic acid in the ratio 3:1. Then the aqueous solution of this ratio of the sample was kept for slow evaporation method at room temperature. After the crystals were grown, the FTIR analysis showed presence of various functional groups and modes of vibration in the crystal.
