Get Your Vogue: Personalized Fashion Recommendation System

ABSTRACT In the era of digital transformation, personalization stands at the forefront of enhancing user experiences across various domains, particularly in fashion and retail. This research presents a Personalized Fashion Recommendation System designed to generate clothing suggestions—such as shirts, skirts, and accessories— based on individual user traits including skin tone, eye color, and hair color. Leveraging the capabilities of computer vision through OpenCV and the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm, the system extracts visual features and matches users with fashion profiles suited to their appearance. The recommendations are informed by Seasonal Color Theory, which classifies users into seasonal categories to provide a color palette that harmonizes with their natural tones. This project not only bridges the gap between aesthetics and technology but also contributes to the evolving intersection of machine learning, computer vision, and human-centric fashion design, making personalized fashion more accessible and data-driven.
