ABSTRACT

Arteriovenous fistula aneurysms for hemodialysis constitute a complication that appears in some patients and that is not always taken in relation to them. In this paper, we present a case and review the literature on the behavior and complications of arteriovenous fistula.

Case Report: Wepresent the case of a 39-year-old male patient with 7 years of hemodialysis treatment through a left brachycephalic arteriovenous fistula who developed a giant aneurysm with a risk of spontaneous rupture, which underwent surgical treatment.
