Author Name : Prof. Subhraprakash Dutta, Krishnendu Dutta, Sayani Dutta, Sumana Dey, Debesh Sarkar
ABSTRACT The project aims to develop a system that translates hand gestures into written letter output , facilitating communication for individuals with speech impairments. Most of the common individual doesn’t have much idea about sign language, so by using this sensor glove, a mute individual can easily communicate with common people who have less to no idea about sign language. Utilizing advanced sensors, the device captures and interprets various hand movements, converting these into corresponding pre-programmed written outputs. The uniqueness of this project re- lies on It’s sensor based approach. In place of machine learning and image pro- cessing concept, this project fully relies on sensor based approach. The end goal is to create a real-time communication tool that is both affordable and accessible, of- fering a range of expressive interaction for those relying on sign language or other non-verbal communication methods.
