ABSTRACT
A new Health policy is the need of the hour in India with India facing humongous crisis in the health department, from a great disparity lying in providing treatment to the people in living in the urban and rural area, to facilities being provided at the private and public hospital. Lack of infrastructure, availability of resources for treatment , violence against doctors , poor quality treatment or no treatment available in the remote area , which no sub-centers or PHC existing in a distance of 100 km , expensive medical treatments , unnecessary tests given in return of money , no beds available at the hospitals , there has been a rise in suicide cases with every passing year as people are unable to afford the expenses of the hospital , the government did take initiatives ,but we have a long way to go which calls for new measures and policies which should incorporate hazard free hospitalizations health awareness programmes, distribution of free sanitary pads , need for sport health insurance policy , promoting of auyurvedic medicines and treatment , providing better facilities for soldiers health care packages , providing a rashka kacaz, making arrangement for better health care facilities for disabled, SC, ST and OBC , migrant workers and trans gender people.
