ABSTRACT Pregnancy is an amazing opportunity to reflect a good food habit and to have a healthy lifestyle. Healthy food habit is not only beneficial and also important to mother's, it is equally beneficial for baby also. Food plays an important role during pregnancy as to avoid any pregnancy complications and miscarriage. Some foods can harm or cause problems, we will discuss which foods should be avoided and which are good to intake during pregnancy. A women nutritional state during pregnancy is not only crucial for her health but also for future generations. Healthy dietary intake is necessary during the time of pregnancy which may differ from non-pregnant women. Thus they should be a perfect dietary plan to be executed which is recommended by nutritional advisor. Currently, many countries are suggest routine check-ups and some kind of supplements for all pregnant women and also recommended daily exercise and many yoga poses.As you know your body undergoes through lots of physical, emotional, hormonal, mental changes during pregnancy. To be honest, it is important to maintain variety of nutrients and need to make great food choices for you and the baby. Eating healthy and balanced diet will boast your stamina and provide each and every macronutrient and micronutrient which is helpful for your body. It doesn't mean that you should cut down all your favourite foods during pregnancy but just balance it with nutritional foods. It is clear that women develop craving during pregnancy but junkies should be avoided. Studies say that ,Papaya, excessive amount of caffeine, alcohol, foods rich in high levels of mercury ,these show severe impacts during pregnancy and causes complications during childbirth. This article shows how important is to understand the importance to avoid some foods which can cause serious problems and can be fatal too. Chances of genetic abnormalities could be higher due to improper/harmful agents or flavorings agents which may have a great impact on the growing zygote . This Abstract emphasis the importance of dietary intake and reducing the risk which is associated with unhealthy foods during pregnancy.
