High Gain Full Swing 5t Fully Differential Amplifier with A Common-Source Amplifier
Author Name : Shikha Soni, Vandana Niranjan, Ashwni Kumar
ABSTRACT This paper introduces a specialized 1V operational amplifier for VLSI, featuring low-power consumption (8.7nW), a high DC gain (93.86), and a substantial 6.28MHz unity-gain bandwidth. The design combines a 5T fully differential amplifier with a common-source amplifier, optimizing for both high gain and swing. Frequency stability is ensured through Miller compensation, and common-mode feedback reduces design costs. The noise level is measured at 76.45nV/√Hz. To enhance sensitivity to common-mode feedback, the design includes a common-mode detection circuit and a selfcascode composite MOS topology. Experimental validation confirms the operational efficiency of this amplifier, positioning it as a promising solution for VLSI applications prioritizing a balance of performance, power efficiency, and stability.
