How pandemic has affected the library services of Bineswar Brahma Engineering College (BBEC)

ABSTRACT

The COVID 19 pandemic which hit the world and affected all aspects of life presented unprecedented challenges to the libraries as well. With the nationwide lockdown being imposed, the library professionals of Bineswar Brahma Engineering College had to adapt to the change in library operations like shifting to digital platforms and making it possible for its resources to be accessed remotely. The main objective of this paper is to present how the college library has responded to COVID 19 crisis and the various initiatives taken by the library in this direction.
