Implementation of the Vehicle Identity Number to Generate Key for Secure Communication in Vehicular Network

ABSTRACT

Today’s smart vehicles have computional control systems,communication mechanisms used by these vehicles have the capability to communicate with road side units to exchange the data. The data collected from these RSU’s help the vehicle to make and execute the decision for better  flow of the vehicles , they also helps in making the devices to upload and download the infotainment data from and to the roadside units or in between the other vehicles. The vehicular clouds are playing a vital role in sharing of the this type of data between the vehicles are the Road side units . The security of the data on vehicular clouds is a matter of concern of this era. The proposed algorithm for the security is authentication of the message in cloud based vanet can be used for the security by removing the false messages or the beacon messages with the introduction of the new secure key in the network.
