Influence of Home Environments on Academic Achievement of College of Education Students in Language Programmes through Computer Assisted Language Learning (Call) In South-West, Nigeria

ABSTRACT This study examines the influence of home environments on the academic achievement of College of Education students in Language related progrmames through Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) in the SouthWestern Nigeria.It investigates the relationship between home environments and academic achievement of Language Students through CALL, focusing on factors such as family income, family type, and parental educational background. Six null hypotheses are tested to determine the significance of these factors on the academic achievement of language students using CALL. The expected outcomes of the study are to reveal a significant relationship between family income and academic achievement, as well as a significant relationship between parental educational background and academic achievement
