Influence Of Ternary Components & Phase Behaviour Innanoemulsion Based Drug Delivery System: Design & Bioavailability Intervention

Author Name : Shahrukh, Dr. Anoop Kumar, Dr. Shobhit Kumar

ABSTRACT

Nanoemulsion-based formulations are one of the most promising approaches for the designing of water insoluble drugs integrated formulations aimed to accomplish enhanced water solubility and hecncesystemic bioavailability to maximize the therapeutic effect. Nanoemulsion systems facilitate to increase the lower water solubility and poor bioavailability of hydrophobic molecules. Furthermore, the article displays the role of ternary components in the construction of pseudoternary phase diagrams and its role in the development and optimization of nanoemulsion system with best proportion of components and thereafter, discretion of nanoemulsion systemalongwith different other regions of the various systems such as nanoemulsion, coarse emulsion, microemulsion, bicontinuous phase, liquid crystalline phase, oil in water (O/W) phase, water in oil (W/O) phase and dilutable system. It also displays the behavioral characteristic of different components and influence of each component and the drugson the other component when they come together and form a homogenous system. It precisely provides the exact proportion of oil, surfactant/cosolvent mix, and aqueous components to yield the above systems. Additionally, Its implications in the designing of lipid-based delivery systems and serve as a allocating tool to locate various delivery systems mentioned above. Phase behavior facilitates the enhancement of drug solubility, permeation, dissolution rate, bioavailability, and stability of the drug. This write-up also includes the preparation methods, various new characterization tools, and recent studies on nanoemulsion.
