Integrated Safety Detection Transportation for Defence

ABSTRACT

The Internet of Objects (IoT) is a relatively new area of development that has the potential to significantly increase efficiency in terms of cost savings, cost reduction, round-the-clock availability, and modular structure to continuously improve processes and things.This article proposes using the Internet of Things to improve the security and management of an army cantonment. This study presents three types of integrated applications in the context of security. Using RFID and Automatic Number Plate Recognition technology, the access control system ensures that only authorized cars gain access.At the next level, intrusion detection using passive infrared, cameras, and thermal imaging is proposed. Sound sensors detect gunfire in residential complexes on the army camps, preventing any incursion, attack, or other undesirable circumstance. Apart from security, this study offers the intelligent use of water flow sensors for smart subsurface drainage monitoring and water level sensors to decrease water waste in tank overflow situations. The suggested system is dependable, accurate, and efficient in terms of the response time of the various modules, round-the-clock capability, and operational and maintenance costs.
