Interior Design Using Augmented Reality Environment

ABSTRACT

Information and communication technology now supports the growth of human contact with physical, computer, and virtual environments in fields such as science, commerce, banking, and education. Augmented reality is a branch of computer science that deals with the merging of reality and computer-related data. In the beginning, if we users wanted to buy a furniture object without going to a store, we could, but we couldn't see how the object would look in our homes. Now, with our proposed system, users may purchase furniture pieces from the comfort of their own homes, rather than having to go to a store. The main goal is to create an android application that allows users to try out various furnishings in a virtual environment using a mobile device.
