Investigating the Multifaceted Nature of Creativity in Youth

ABSTRACT

This study aims to inspect the multifaceted nature of human creativity. It gives insight to the domains of creativity theses are self or everyday creativity, scholarly creativity, performance creativity, mechanical or scientific creativity and artistic creativity. To assess creativity of the individual the Kaufman Domains of Creativity Scale, is used, it consists of 50 items within 10 items belongs to one separate domain of creativity. This study consists of total 60 participants belongs from young generation. Study is used to navigate the domain influences on each other and how done domain is associated to another one. Appropriate  inferential statistics is used to assess the results as per the hypothesis demands. Outcome of the study suggests that, there is weak positive correlation between domains of creativity self/everyday creativity and performance creativity as well as scholarly and artistic creativity. Where as mechanical/science creativity and artistic creativity has almost negligible difference between them.
