ABSTRACT
Remote Health Monitoring systems can help us better our lives in many ways by gathering real-time information over the internet collected from a smart network of devices. The motivation behind this project came from the COVID pandemic where the lack of doctors and nurses to monitor post COVID patients invariably put their health at risk. This system can be used in such cases as itmakes use of the Wi-Fi technology to monitor a patient’s health remotely. The sensors for measuring the parameters like body temperature, heart rate, blood oxygen levels areused in the system. Using an internet capable device, the data acquired from these sensors is sent to a Cloud platform where it can be reviewed by the healthcare professionals as well as the close family members. This system shows live data with time-stamps over the Internet. The log of past data will be maintained on the Cloud platform in the form of graphs for better interpretation. The stored data will be useful for various analysis purposes. This system is not limited to COVID and can also be used for other diseases where human-to-human contact is to be avoided and remote treatment is to be provided. The Monitoring System will prove to be a boon for the healthcare organizations in today's circumstances.
