ABSTRACT
Water is the basic need of all human life. Almost two third of our earth is covered with water. Among that only 3% water resources can be utilised by the humans, where as other resources are stored in the form of oceans and polar regions. Internet of Things deals networking of the physical objects/things that are embedded with the help of sensors, software etc…The aim of this project is to explore the importance of the IoT and enhancing the monitoring of the water level through our Smartphones. IoT enables the monitoring of the water level through our smartphones. Additionally, this project employs the usage of GSM module to create an alert system, so that the user/security monitoring the water level would able to know about the water level and make a decision to manage the water shortage at the particular place.
