ABSTRACT This document gives overview of applications of Internet of Things in the field of electric vehicles. The various of components of Internet of Things are also discussed. Survival in today’s world is full of struggles and hardships without vehicles. We cannot imagine a world with no vehicles. They are a part of our daily routine. They fulfil all purposes such as from entertainment purpose to emergency purpose. Now as we have seen with an increase in population there is an abrupt increase in number of vehicles being used by public. Due to this reason, air pollution and global warming have increased and thus we have introduced a concept of electric vehicles. To control and to maintain smoothness and functionality of electric vehicles with an ease, the applications of Internet of Things are being introduced in the world of electric vehicles. This document explains how the component of Internet of Things are useful and applicable in electric vehicles.
