ABSTRACT Globalization is the process by which economies and societies become more interdependent, linked, and integrated to the point that events in one region of the world have an impact on individuals in other regions of the world. The influence of globalization on Indian society is particularly evident in cross-country culture. Numerous facets of the nation have seen substantial transformations encompassing cultural, social, political, and economic facets but the primary component that makes the most contribution to a nation's economy within an international economy is its economic unification. The country has seen a huge increase in foreign investment in the corporate, retail, and scientific sectors.Globalization has almost eliminated distances and virtually brought the world closer together. In other words, globalization has provided aworldwide way where individuals, companies, and governments can connect and come together.Globalization has accelerated recently as a result of advancements in information technology and transportation. Improved worldwide synergies lead to an expansion of global trade, ideologies, and culture. It has resulted in several benefits such as enhanced healthcare, reduced severe poverty in certain areas, enhanced economic growth, and easier access to technology and education. The Indian economy has benefited from globalization, which has increased exports, job creation, and economic growth.
