Is the Boom of Logistics and Transportation a Cogitate on Climate Change in India and its Policy towards India

ABSTRACT Logistics and transportation are major contributors to climate change, and therefore effective policy is needed to address this issue. The transportation sector, including trucks, cars, ships, and airplanes, is responsible for a significant portion of global greenhouse gas emissions. This is because transportation relies heavily on fossil fuels, which release carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases when burned. Additionally, the logistics industry, which includes the movement and storage of goods, also has a significant carbon footprint due to the energy required to transport, store, and distribute products. To address this issue, policymakers need to implement policies that encourage the adoption of cleaner transportation and logistics practices
