Author Name : Althaf Shaik, Jakeer Hussain Shaik, Lakshmi Srinivas Dendukuri

ABSTRACT In the World, more water is used for in agricultural sector only. Whenever an agricultural field does not receive enough water from rainfall, irrigation is a method of artificially applying water to crops or plants. India, which may have the world's largest irrigated land area, suffers from a severe water shortage. We must use irrigation techniques that save freshwater while also giving plants enough water to develop. Water scarcity requires farmers to depending on inadequate water quality for irrigation. Micro irrigation systems are evolving rapidly, driven by the need for efficient water use in agriculture amidst growing food demands and climate challenges. These systems intend to maximize water use while maintaining that crops are given the right conditions for optimal growth, improving sustainability and efficiency.
