Learning Action Cell (LAC) Implementation, Teaching Satisfaction, and Teaching Performance in Selected Public Schools in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines

ABSTRACT
The study was conducted to identify the Level of Learning Action Cell (LAC) implementation in selected public schools in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines.Descriptive type of research was utilized in the study wherein the quantitative data were gathered using a survey questionnaire. Results revealed that majority of the respondents belong to the age range of 31-40 years old, majority are females, have teaching service of 1-5 years and , and are bachelor’s degree holders with units leading to a graduate degree and holding Teacher I position.The level of implementation of learning action cell in San Jose West District is high. The teachers in the San Jose West District have a high teaching satisfaction level and the level of teaching performance in the San Jose West District is also high. It is recommended that the Learning Action Cell (LAC) should be continuously implemented as the increasing implementation of the Learning Action Cell redounds to higher teacher job satisfaction and teaching performance levels. This study may be replicated in other districts to find the effectiveness of the LAC in improving teaching performance. Further studies on the implementation of Learning Action can be conducted using other parameters such as subject areas or across disciplines or grade levels being taught by the teachers. Study of the same nature may be conducted to include the students, parents and supervisors’ input in the effectiveness of implementation of LAC in enhancing learning outcomes.
