Author Name : Prof. Baswaraj Gadgay, Dr. Shubhangi D C, Humera Tahseen

ABSTRACT

Radio frequency identification (RFID) has merged in the Internet of things (IoT) to the identification of things. The paper presents smart refrigerators use for automatic billing and restoring of being metallic cans. The retailer gets a product shortage alert message once the cans will over. This paper Targeted to minimize the Queue at a billing counter in a shopping mall. To prove the concept. Because placing the RFID  tagged cans inside a refrigerator, costumer should scan the barcode placed on the refrigerator. The door will get open once the barcode is scanned.

Then the customer can directly pay the amount by using a billing application. So it reduces the possibility of human error substantially.

Index Terms— Internet of Things (IoT), radio frequency identification (RFID) tag antenna, smart refrigerator, Characteristic mode theory (CMT).
