Machine Learning Algorithms Used In Predictive Maintenance

ABSTRACT

Predictive Maintenance in industries is an emerging technology. This technology deals with the future predictions of occurrence of events and or requirements needed to avoid them. This technology can be used for manufacturing process, production line, equipment maintenance, etc. Maintaining the equipment avoids the shutdown of process and affects the operation time of process. Prediction is the base of this technology. Accurate predictions may lead to successful outcomes and can be very helpful for accidents which may happen. There are also other technologies such as Preventive Maintenance which tries to prevent the future event. For the predictions of such events, various machine learning algorithms are used.
