Management of Endo- Perio Lesion: A Multi disciplinary Approach

ABSTRACT

Background and Aim: Endodontic periodontal combined lesions are a clinical dilemma because complicated diagnosis and treatment planning. The simultaneous existence of pulpal problems and inflammatory periodontal disease can complicate the diagnosis and treatment planning and affect the sequence of care to be performed. Therefore the aim of the present a case report related to management endo-perio lesion by multidisciplinary approach.

Case report: An endodontic-periodontal lesion that resulted from a faulty restoration in a 21-year-old female patient is reported. The management of the case is done through periodontal and endodontic treatment.

Conclusion: By fostering communication and compliance among the multidisciplinary team, the therapists can ensure the quality treatment & effective care for patients.
