ABSTRACT
Menopause is termed as ending or cessation of monthly menstrual cycle. It is not only ending of menstruation but several changes take place in the body and mind. It is mainly due to decline of oestrogen and progesterone. Menopause is natural process in women’s life. Although it is natural process many women lack of knowledge and how to handle it. Ayurved recommends perfect balance in dosha during this phase by applying appropriate lifestyle, panchakarma, diet, Yoga and other all supplementary therapies. Personalized strategy, modification in choices including nutrition, exercise, weightmanagement, herbal supplements, rasayan. A detailed description of menopausal symptoms along with its management is elaborated in this paper.
