Mitigation of Physiological Risk Factors of Type 2 Diabetes Patients of Burdwan & Hooghly West Bengal: A Comprehensive Interventional Study

ABSTRACT Background: Diabetes causes the body to either produce insufficient insulin or utilize it improperly. Too much blood sugar lingers in the circulation and doesn't reach cells when there is insufficient insulin or when cells cease reacting to insulin. By 2025, 98 million people in India may develop diabetes. People of Burdwan & of Hooghly districts are not exception to it. Objective: To identify and assess the physiological risks of morbidity of the Type 2 diabetes patients, to review and quantify the health status of the local diabetic patients and to suggest some remedial measures to the diabetic patients for their health and wellbeing ensured for betterment.
