Modern Technology’s Positive and Negative Effects on Education

ABSTRACT
This study examines the good and negative effects of technology and technological innovations in the field of lexicography and dictionary production. The study compares and analyses the three forms of dictionaries: paper, electronic, and internet. The researchers interviewed a variety of users to learn about the benefits and drawbacks of various dictionaries. Inventions and new technology have a beneficial and detrimental impact on the way of building dictionaries, according to this study. It also discovers that each of the three types of dictionaries has advantages and disadvantages. The study implies that we benefit from the machine and internet revolution in order to increase our vocabulary. It concludes that the perfect dictionary is one that fits the requirements and expectations of its users.
